101 in 1,001
You have totally been waiting! All crazed with excitement! Well here it is! The list of 101 things for me to do in 1,001 days, which is to say, before July 29, 2009!

It was hard to keep this to goals and not wishes - sometimes I got to feeling that I could accomplish any preposterous combination of things as long as I wrote them down, and I had to have a lot of cross-outs in the sections having to do with foreign languages, travel, musical prowess and other people. I think I still came up with a pretty good list.

  1. play a show with the metal band
  2. before which we should have a name
    I'm pretty sure we're officially Thoraxx. (Unfortunately for item 1, I think we're also officially broken up.)
  3. record some non-band music
  4. play with someone where I'm actually singing singing
  5. solo art show somewhere
  6. two residencies
    #1: Rapperswil, Switzerland, July-December 2007
  7. live in Berlin for at least a bit
  8. no more debt except student loans
  9. finish a story
  10. get something published on actual paper
  11. learn to do a trackstand
  12. and a proper skid
  13. and a barspin (or something else equally rad and useless if I keep my current barspin-impossible setup)
  14. be able to commute regularly on the fixie

  15. do an alleycat race

  16. 50 segments in secrets video project
  17. get it shown somewhere
  18. get functionally fluent in German
  19. and brush up the French

  21. go to at least one continent which is new to me (South America, Africa, Asia, Antarctica)
  22. go scuba diving some more
  23. have a container garden
    started 5/12/07, basil and mint
  24. finish some type of zine project
  25. read War and Peace
  26. get rid of half the stuff in my room
  27. re-establish contact with at least three long-lost friends
  28. go to Turkey
  29. and Sweden
  30. live in a place what gets snow but is still sunny in winter
  31. some type of epic touring bike trip (Poland? Liechtenstein?)
  32. drive across the USA
  33. California-related tattoo
  34. and another one (fork and spoon?)
  35. visit at least three of these people at home: Peter & Sally, Alexis, Claire & Emily, Sarah, Bene & Lisa

I realize my list is a little short, but some goals are secret. Maybe I will say something when it's all done, maybe.
