15. UHA SOUR DEVIL CANDIES

        Subject: oh! I understand the pinch-mouthed devil!

        On a whim at Maruwa I grabbed myself a packet of those candies I gave you,
        with the devil on the front - mine are green (muscat) and the devil looks
        a bit like a middle-aged monster with curlers in its hair (and again the
        asterisk mouth) (and on the back of the package, the back of the monster,
        dancing off into the sunset with little wings tacked on back! it's cool).
        I busted em open and it turns out they're sour!  Stiff little gummi
        pyramids coated in some kind of sour powder (kind of like sour patch kids
        only less crystalline), very sour, so you have to chomp furiously as soon
        as you get it in your mouth lest the sour powder erode your tongue away
        before you get into the sweet part.

        They're yummy - an exciting eating experience, I don't pop em in my mouth
        without realizing, so I won't polish off the whole package at once and
        then wonder where they all went like I do with the rice candies....
